These terms apply to our courses for private individuals. For corporate events, terms are specified in the provided quote.

Registration

When you sign up for a course, you will receive a confirmation email. Payment is made via an invoice sent separately by email. Your registration is only final once payment has been received, and your spot is then secured.

If several people wish to attend the course, each participant must register separately. Please indicate in the information field if one person will pay the invoice for all participants. Some of our courses welcome children accompanied by an adult at a discounted rate – but not all. Please contact us if you’re planning to bring children.

If a course is fully booked, you will be notified and offered a place on the waiting list. Joining the waiting list is non-binding.

Gift cards

We offer gift cards valid for two years from the purchase date. Email us and we’ll help you arrange it. Gift cards function as payment, and our standard booking terms apply when redeeming them. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash.

If you’d prefer to gift a specific course, note this in the information field when booking and provide your own email address – so we don’t spoil the surprise. We’re happy to email you a printable gift certificate.

Right of withdrawal

According to Chapter 2, Section 11 of the Swedish Distance Contracts Act, the right of withdrawal does not apply to “services related to leisure activities where the contract specifies a particular date or period of performance.” Therefore, the right of withdrawal does not apply to our time-specific courses.

By booking a time-specific course with us, you agree that the contract falls under this exemption from the right of withdrawal. If you have any questions, you’re welcome to contact us before booking.

Insurance, health, and fitness

Participants are responsible for ensuring they have adequate insurance coverage throughout the course. While serious incidents are rare, many activities carry some risk – such as tripping, cutting yourself, or other minor injuries.

It is your responsibility to choose a course that matches your fitness level and to ensure you are physically prepared to participate in all aspects of the course. Several of our courses require good physical condition, and you are expected to train beforehand as specified in the course description.

If you’re unsure whether your health and fitness are adequate, consult a doctor before booking. During the course, AINS instructors have the right to withdraw a participant who is deemed physically unfit to complete the course safely. In such cases, the participant is responsible for any additional costs such as accommodation and transport home. No refunds will be issued for missed activities due to early withdrawal.
